What the Record Says

The entities

From a registry mirror unless marked; the state's records were not read.

Tie for each Georgia entity on the site's list: the control number is on the site's list, plus the address 249 Milton Ave SE. Formation dates are each record's "Business Formation" filing line on the mirror, confirmed by the source checker for all fourteen. All fourteen show "Active/Compliance" with a 2026 annual-registration line on the mirror as read October 7, 2026. The site's own earlier list shows "Active/Owes Current Year AR" for each, except Abebe Cox Ventures LLC (below).

For the older entities the mirror shows at most eight filing lines, so earlier lines were not seen. The mirror's separate officer-search list (the source analyst's read; not reproduced by the checker; the company pages themselves hide officers) prints the developer's name as organizer or agent, and for ABEBE, INC. also as "ceo, cfo, secretary". No other person's name was seen on these records.

Dissolution and reinstatement dates

Among the Georgia entities on the site's list, one has them. For Abebe Cox Ventures LLC (24086945) the mirror prints these filing lines: "8 Apr 2024 Name Reservation"; "19 Apr 2024 Business Formation"; "18 Jun 2025 Notice of Admin. Dissolution/Revocation"; "19 Sep 2025 Administrative Dissolution"; "18 May 2026 Reinstatement" (printed twice). It shows "Status Active/Compliance" and "Agent Name Mike Abebe". The mirror does not state a reason for the dissolution.

The site's earlier list shows this entity as "Admin. Dissolved" with a different agent.

One entity not on the site's list also has such dates. For 441 VENTURES LLC (12034847) the mirror prints "17 Feb 2025 Reinstatement", "30 Sep 2021 Administrative Dissolution" and "13 Apr 2012 Business Formation", with "Agent Name Abebe, Mike" and "Active/Compliance".

Alabama, read at the registry

The Alabama Secretary of State's entity detail pages (arc-sos.state.al.us; the exact page addresses are not recorded in the source) show two entities. Abebe Blackbelt Ventures LLC, 000-866-410: "Formation Date 06/08/2021"; "Status Exists"; "Organizer Name Mike, Abebe"; "Organizer Street Address 249 Milton Ave SE Atlanta, GA 30315"; a registered-agent change dated 10/02/2024. Tie: the organizer address.

Ensley District Developers, LLC, 000-589-337: "Formation Date 10/08/2019"; "Status Exists"; "Registered Agent Name C T Corporation System". The record names no individual. Tie: the entity name in the 2019 article the site already holds; nothing in the record itself.

Federal small-business loan records

USAspending.gov records for two recipients, opened October 6, 2026 (recipient record for Abebe Ventures LLC). That record shows Abebe Ventures LLC at 249 MILTON AVE SE, Atlanta GA 30315, with the business type "small_business". Source: the deep-dive research file, a secondary file.

Repayment or forgiveness status was not seen: the API fields did not show it. SBA loan data is not itself a record of default. No contracts, grants or cooperative agreements were found for either name.

No USAspending recipient was found for Abebe Holdings, Abebe St George, or Renewal Development Group (the search for "renewal development" returned only unrelated names).

Federal exclusions list (the open part of SAM.gov): searches for "abebe ventures", "abebe holdings", "abebe st george", "renewal development group" and "ensley district developers", first 50 loose matches each: no record with any of those names. Not re-run by the checker. On the mirror: no company named "St George Crossing"; no "Renewal Development Group" in Delaware; no Abebe entity with "Sylvan" in its name.

What a Party Says

abebe.com/partnership says: "Abebe Ventures is dedicated to creating lasting opportunities for businesses, investors, and cities to grow and thrive together." None of the pages opened offers an investment, states terms, or names a fund.
